In contrast, nanozymes with ROS clearance ability, including catalase (CAT), superoxide dismutase (SOD) and glutathione peroxidase (GPx), can mimic the intracellular antioxidant defense system to remove various toxic ROS, and show good therapeutic effects on acute kidney injury (AKI), acute liver injury (AILI), and wound healing and other related diseases [40–46].
