As indicated by our findings, many miRNAs could not only regulate the occurrence and development of osteoporosis, but also participate in the process of ferroptosis (Fig. 6A), as indicated by the evidence that miR-27a-3p targeted SLC7A11 directly in non-small cell carcinoma cells to regulate ferroptosis [44]. This evidence concerns the gene SLC7A11 and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
