The highest expression of CAV1 (T3) was associated with lower risk of recurrence, HR 0.74 (95% CI 0.60–0.92) in SCAN-B and HR 0.66 (95% CI 0.54–0.80) in METABRIC; lower risk of distant metastasis, HR 0.65 (95% CI 0.51–0.84) in SCAN-B and HR 0.61 (95% CI 0.50–0.76) in METABRIC; and lower risk of death, HR 0.68 (95% CI 0.58–0.80) in SCAN-B and HR 0.70 (95% CI 0.59–0.84) in METABRIC, Fig. 3.
