Some targeted therapies have been validated either in an association with the backbone of 3 + 7 or alone such as midostaurine for FLT3 mutated AML patients,2 ivosidenib for IDH1 mutated AML patients, enasidenib for IDH2 AML6 mutated patients, and gemtuzumab ozogamycin for CD33‐positive AML patients.7 This evidence concerns the gene FLT3 and acute myeloid leukemia.
