The activation of the STING pathway by VPS34 inhibition was not limited to the RCC cells but similarly observed in the Me30966 melanoma cell line as evidenced by increased IRF3 and STAT1 phosphorylation (lanes 3 and 5) in a STING‐dependent manner (lanes 4 and 6) (Fig. S2B). This evidence concerns the gene STING1 and renal cell carcinoma.
