TNFRSF17 and Miyoshi myopathy: There are currently several approved therapies to treat MM including, but not limited to, proteasome inhibitors (e.g., bortezomib and carfilzomib), chemotherapy (e.g., melphalan), immunomodulatory drugs (e.g., lenalidomide), and cellular and non-cellular immunotherapies (e.g., B cell maturation antigen (BCMA) chimeric antigen receptor- (CAR) T cells and daratumumab) that significantly contribute to the long-term survival of MM patients4.
