Our study indicated that luminal B and non-luminal breast cancers mRNA expression levels vary in terms of TET3 and TDG. Luminal B breast cancers showed significantly higher TET3 expression (p < 0.01), whereas TDG mRNA expression was increased amongst patients with non-luminal breast cancer subtype (p < 0.05) (Fig. 4C, D), despite scattered results the difference was statistically significant. Here, TET3 is linked to breast cancer.
