In the comparison of PB from cows with diffuse lesions vs. focal lesions, we found several genes (ACTN1, TGFβ2, ITGβ2, and C8G) with AS events associated with the lysosome (bta:04142) and amoebiasis (bta:05146) caused by Entamoeba histolytica, a human extracellular protozoan parasite that like MAP invades the intestinal epithelium. The gene discussed is ITGB2; the disease is amebiasis.
