CCL5 and psoriasis: Psoriasis is another example of inflammatory disease in which proliferation of skin cells and production of inflammatory mediators such as IL-1b, -6, -8, -17, -18, -23, and -36, CCL5, TNF-α, and interferon (IFN) α/β take place; the use of anti-inflammatory drugs and prevention of proliferation of keratinocytes are the current treatments for psoriasis [225–227].
