H6PD and lung adenocarcinoma: Our study confirmed that in lung adenocarcinoma A549 and PC9 cells, DHEA can inhibit the activity of G6PDH through noncompetitive inhibition, thus inhibiting the conversion of NADP+ to NADPH, reducing the production of NADPH, leading to the disorder of reactive oxygen species clearance and initiating the apoptosis process of mitochondrial pathway.
