In another study of 29 stage IV NSCLC patients receiving anti-PD-1, patients with high baseline serum IL-6 (≥ 11.6 pg/ml) responded poorly (p < 0.001) and had a shorter PFS (5.14 vs. 38.57 weeks, p < 0.001) compared with patients with low IL-6 [26].
