The status of T cell infiltration and its characteristics are correlated with different prognostic outcomes in cancers.[55] A previous study found that exhaustion markers, such as LAYN, CTLA4, and CXCL13, are associated with T cell exhaustion and prognosis.[56,57] From these results, we hypothesized that the function of CD8Gs in HCC is possibly regulated by activating these subgroups in the HCC microenvironment, which requires further validation. Here, CTLA4 is linked to hepatocellular carcinoma.
