Isothermal techniques have recently been developed for the diagnosis of leptospirosis comprising nucleic acid sequence–based amplification (NASBA), loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP), helicase-dependent amplification, rolling circle amplification, strand displacement amplification, and recombinase polymerase amplification (RPA) [12, 15, 32, 33]. This evidence concerns the gene RPA1 and leptospirosis.
