PSMD4 and cancer: The E6AP AZUL (amino-terminal zinc-binding domain of ubiquitin E3a ligase) domain binds to an intrinsically disordered region in Rpn10 to induce a disorder-to-order transition in the so-named Rpn10 AZUL-binding domain (RAZUL).26 With its prevalent role in cancer and neurological disease and with the importance of E3s for targeted protein degradation, E6AP is an attractive therapeutic target.
