Serum levels of ApoA1 in healthy patients are ∼1.5 g/L in healthy volunteers and slightly lower in those at risk for myocardial infarction, ∼1.25 g/L (68), and in the same groups, the ApoB levels were 1.08 g/L and 1.18 g/L, respectively. The gene discussed is APOB; the disease is myocardial infarction.
