Specifically, IFN-γ and TNF-α (Fig. 7a and b) were highly expressed in the first passage for CIP treated group compared to the control group (P < .0001), followed by a reduction in the concentrations of the cytokines in the third and fourth passages of the CIP-treated groups (P < .0001). The gene discussed is IFNG; the disease is hereditary sensory and autonomic neuropathy.
