Table 3 shows the multivariate time-dependent Cox regression estimates under the PH assumption. In multivariate Cox analysis, age, WC, SBP, BMI, and ALT were correlated and independent risk factors for lean NAFLD development. Subjects in the moderate stable and high stable groups showed 1.767 (95% CI: 0.730-4.275) and 2.668 (95% CI: 1.098-6.484) fold higher risk of developing lean NAFLD, respectively, than those in the low stable group. This evidence concerns the gene GPT and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease.
