Upon adjusting for confounding factors, including, tumor differentiation, tumor size, lymph node metastasis, and muscle invasion, only the tumor differentiation (OR = 1.84, 95%Cl: 1.08–3.92, p = 0.013), muscle invasion (OR = 2.51, 95%Cl: 1.18–4.62, p = 0.001), and EZH2 levels (OR = 2.48, 95%Cl: 1.33–4.24, p = 0.008) emerged as independent risk factors for progression-free survival rates (Table 4). This evidence concerns the gene EZH2 and metastatic malignant neoplasm in the lymph nodes.
