Epigenetic downregulation of GLI2 and WNT4, which are members of breast cancer signaling pathways driving cell proliferation, differentiation, and oncogenesis, would be expected to decrease stimulation of the Hedgehog and Wnt pathways, in part justifying the decreased cell proliferation observed following RSV treatment in MCF10CA1a [16] and MCF-7 cells (Figure S1).
