In Wistar male rats, through upregulating the Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor/Tyrosine Kinase receptor B (BDNF/TrkB) signaling pathway, enhancing cognitive function, increasing acetylcholine (ACH) content in the central cholinergic system, inhibiting cell apoptosis, and enhancing synaptic plasticity, CSF improves the AD model induced by Aβ1–42 [116]. This evidence concerns the gene BDNF and Alzheimer disease.
