CD8A and rheumatoid arthritis: T cells expressing CD8+CD279+TIM3+ (0.2 (0.325), (N = 46) compared to 0.1 (0.1), (N = 26), p = 0.0052) and CD8+HLA-DR+CD38+ (7.5 (6.6), (N = 47) compared to 3.1 (3.3), (N = 27), p = 0.0004) were also significantly more prevalent in RA patients than in healthy volunteers (Table 2).
