Grade 4 gliomas, particularly isocitrate dehydrogenase (IDH)-mutant astrocytoma and glioblastoma (GBM), IDH-wildtype, bear the worst prognosis with a five-year survival of 4–6.7% and a ten-year survival of only 0.7% [3,4,5]. Here, IDH3A is linked to glioblastoma.
