CAT and infection: The establishment of more complete studies to elucidate the function of virulence factors such as dipeptidylpeptidases, hemolysins, catalases, aminopeptidases or serine hydrolases, which have been little studied and have been shown to be important in pathogenesis, may strengthen our knowledge of the mechanisms of invasion, colonization and nutrition of this fungus from keratinized tissues, with the aim of achieving effective treatments, as well as the prevention and control of infection.
