Our study demonstrates that our system can be used to better detect ovarian cancer, along with traditional methods such as clinical examination, serum biomarkers (Carbohydrate Antigen 125 (CA 125) and Human Epididymis Protein 4 (HE4)), transvaginal ultrasound (TVU), computed tomography scan (CT), and positron emission tomography (PET). The gene discussed is WFDC2; the disease is ovarian cancer.
