Thus, to determine if tau pathologies affects MSUT2 levels in patient brains, we measured neuronal MSUT2 in both non-tauopathy (non-tau pathology control: Parkinson’s disease, Multiple System Atrophy and non-pathologic cases) and tauopathy patients (Table 1), and determined whether there was a correlation with the amount of tau pathology in the fronto-cortical region (Fig. 1c).
