Taken together, our results demonstrate that ALKBH1 competitively binds to OST48, which destroyed the structural integrity among subunits of the OST complex, resulting in the glycosylation disorders of LAMPs and dysfunction of lysosomes, eventually inhibiting the CMA-mediated degradation of HIF-1α and promoting glycolysis. The gene discussed is DDOST; the disease is disorder of glycosylation.
