The aberrant expression of RAB5A has been widely documented in various human tumors, e.g. breast cancer, lung cancer, and ovarian cancer; furthermore, the expression of RAB5A is tightly associated with tumorigenesis and metastasis (Yu et al. 1999, Su et al. 2007, Zhao et al. 2010, Yang et al. 2011). This evidence concerns the gene RAB5A and lung carcinoma.
