Typical mutations present in cutaneous melanoma (CM) are BRAF (v-raf murine sarcoma viral oncogene homolog B1) V600E (found in approximately 50% of the cases), but BRAF mutations are found in only 10-35% of AM and 0-21% of MM (5, 6). This evidence concerns the gene BRAF and acute myeloblastic leukemia with maturation.
