By overexpressing NSUN2 wild‐type (WT) and mutant plasmids in NSUN2‐silenced cells, we found that only the wild‐type was able to rescue CRC cell proliferation and colony formation, while enzymatic dead mutants of NSUN2 failed (Figure 5A and Figure S5A). The gene discussed is NSUN2; the disease is colorectal carcinoma.
