Considering these neuro-protective effects of PERM1, regulating the level of PERM1 could be a promising neuro-protective strategy [34].In this study, we reported the previously unknown specific role of lnc_AABR07044470.1-miR-214-3p-PERM1 axis in the pathophysiology of AIS, which could provide a new theoretical basis for revealing the molecular mechanism of neuro-protection of PERM1.
