It can be seen from Figure 7 that the active components of DSD may activate the PI3K-Akt signaling pathway through the AGEs-Rages signaling pathway to promote AKT1 production and then further produce NF-κB activity, reduce the expression of inflammatory cytokines (such as IL-8, IL-6 and TNF-α), and promote the expression of atherosclerosis-related genes VEGF and RAGE, thus alleviating inflammatory reaction, promoting angiogenesis, and treating DF. This evidence concerns the gene NFKB1 and disorder of sexual differentiation.
