SLC5A7, also called choline transporter 1 (CHT1), is a Na+/Cl–dependent choline cotransporter.[47] SLC5A7 plays a vital role in normal neuromuscular junction signaling, and its mutations often lead to dominant motor neuropathies.[48, 49] A recent study[50] reported that SLC5A7 plays a crucial role in tumor suppression in CRC.
