AXIN2 and cervical carcinoma: Previous studies have reported that miR-221-3p targets THBS2 to regulate the proliferation and invasion of cervical cancer cells and enhance their metastasis13; miR-221-3p induced by inflammation targets ANGPTL8 to regulate impaired lipid metabolism in metabolic diseases14; and miR-221-3p in pulmonary artery smooth muscle cells targets AXIN2 to induce cell migration and inhibit cell apoptosis15.
