CRP and chorioamnionitis: According to the stratified analysis by gestational week of delivery, the incidence of preterm delivery at 34–36 weeks was significantly higher in the chorioamnionitis group than that in the control group (22% vs. 8%), WBC, NE and CRP counts were significantly higher than that in the control group, and the positive rate of cervical secretion cultures was significantly higher (34% vs. 23%).
