EGFR and non-small cell lung carcinoma: In the FURLONG study, a randomized Phase III trial that included previously untreated advanced NSCLC patients with EGFR-sensitive mutations, furmonertinib demonstrated superior PFS compared to gefitinib (20.8 versus 11.1 months, hazard ratio [HR] 0.44, 95% confidence interval [CI], 0.34–0.58, p < 0.0001) (9).
