AKT1 and breast cancer: Based on the results of our previous bioinformatics analysis, we focused on the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway, and we demonstrated for the first time that SORBS1 inhibited the activation of p-AKT and p-PI3K, increased the expression levels of E-cadherin, and decreased the expression levels of N-cadherin, thereby indicating the inhibitory effect of SORBS1 on the proliferation and invasion of breast cancer cells.
