In this study, we found that SORBS1 up-regulated the expression levels of CD68 and CD86 mRNA and down-regulated the expression levels of CD206 and CD163 mRNA, which in turn led to the differentiation of macrophages to the M1-type, enhanced their killing effect on breast cancer cells, and inhibited the invasion of these cells. This evidence concerns the gene SORBS1 and breast carcinoma.
