A retrospective study of 298 COVID-19 patients conducted in China by Luo et al. [7] found that a CRP cutoff level >41.4 mg/L was a predictor of an adverse outcome, with an AUC of 0.896 (p < 0.05), 90.5% sensitivity, 77.6% specificity, 61.3% positive predictive value (PPV), and 95.4% negative predictive value (NPV). Here, CRP is linked to COVID-19.
