Patients with undernutrition (WAZ <-2 SD), hypoxemia (SpO2 <95%), and having CRP >6 mg/dL were associated with clinical features of severe pneumonia (46.1% vs. 33.8%, 100% vs 47.3%, and 67.9% vs 48.5%, respectively, p < 0.05). Here, CRP is linked to susceptibility to pneumonia measurement.
