Similar results were obtained by Hojjat-Farsangi et al. [37], who reported a higher incidence of HLA-B∗35:01 in CLL patients, in addition to two HLA-B alleles with a protective role (HLA-B53:01 and HLA-B∗65:01). The gene discussed is HLA-B; the disease is B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
