Based on routine laboratory testing and the results shown in Table 3, severe COVID-19 subjects exhibited significantly higher levels of neutrophils, lymphocytes, albumin, total bilirubin, alanine transaminase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), blood urea nitrogen (BUN), lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), and C-reactive protein (CRP) than non-severe COVID-19 subjects.
