Five genes (UHMK1, RALYL, MGST3, USP9X, ESRG) are directly related with the drug resistance phenotype, while the remaining four genes (SPINK13, LINC00664, MRPL38, EMILIN3) do not have a known direct relationship with drug resistance in cancer, but they belong to families of genes that are known to be involved in drug resistance. This evidence concerns the gene RALYL and cancer.
