PTEN and glioblastoma: Our recent studies have demonstrated that PTEN–yes-associated protein 1 (YAP1)–lysyl oxidase (LOX) signaling in glioblastoma cells, and CLOCK–olfactomedin like 3–legumain and tissue factor pathway inhibitor 2 signaling in glioblastoma stem cells (GSCs) are the key drivers for the infiltration of macrophages and microglia, respectively, which, in turn, promote tumor growth and immunosuppression in glioblastoma3,12–14.
