Our recent studies have demonstrated that PTEN–yes-associated protein 1 (YAP1)–lysyl oxidase (LOX) signaling in glioblastoma cells, and CLOCK–olfactomedin like 3–legumain and tissue factor pathway inhibitor 2 signaling in glioblastoma stem cells (GSCs) are the key drivers for the infiltration of macrophages and microglia, respectively, which, in turn, promote tumor growth and immunosuppression in glioblastoma3,12–14. The gene discussed is CLOCK; the disease is glioblastoma.
