At the same time, animal models such as the APP/PS1/Tau triple transgenic (3 × Tg-AD) mice which could further induce abnormal phosphorylation of Tau (Li et al., 2019; Wang et al., 2021), and the hTau mice with murine Tau knockout background (Hu et al., 2016; Li et al., 2022), have also been utilized to explore the therapeutic potential of inhibiting pathological alterations of Tau in AD.
