CA4 and neoplasm: As shown in Scheme 1, CA4-NPs precisely destroyed tumor blood vessels, induced tumor cell death and increased the fibrin level (first step); FT11-TPZP-NPs resided at the tumor site by FT11 bonding to fibrin in blood clots (second step); FT11-TPZP-NPs released TPZP in the tumor under the catalysis of esterase (third step); TPZP was effectively activated to kill tumor cells due to CA4-NPs destroying tumor blood vessels and increasing tumor hypoxia (fourth step).
