Following the promising results of preliminary studies, a Phase I clinical trial was conducted, involving 33 patients with Relapsed and Refractory Multiple Myeloma (RRMM) who were administered anti-BCMA CAR T-cells (known as bb2121) featuring anti-BCMA ScFv, CD3, and 4-1BB domains (NCT02658929) [35]. This evidence concerns the gene TNFRSF17 and plasma cell myeloma.
