KLK3 and Familial prostate cancer: This result confirm the one obtained by Pound et al.49 who have shown that a very low recurrence of prostate cancer 11 years later is possible, and that 10 percents of men with undetectable prostate-specific antigen (PSA) levels 10 years after radical prostatectomy subsequently develop biochemical recurrence, which means an increase in the PSA levels without clinical signs of cancer.
