While CPT2 is closely related to FAO, mitochondrial dysfunction, and inflammation.42,43 Inhibition of CPT2 can increase the accumulation of acylcarnitine thereby establishing a lipid-rich tumor-promoting environment.44 Notably, several studies focusing on the downregulation of CPT2 expression the patients with blood disorders suggested its association with the development of hematopoietic damage,17,45 implicating the long-term effects of continued decline in CPT2. This evidence concerns the gene CPT2 and hematologic disorder.
