VEGFA and retinal vein occlusion: Intravitreal (IVT) injection of anti‐VEGF (vascular endothelial growth factor) proteins is a commonly used treatment for various retinal conditions, particularly those involving abnormal blood vessel growth, such as wet age‐related macular degeneration (wAMD), diabetic macular edema (DME), retinal vein occlusion (RVO), retinopathy of prematurity (ROP), and myopic choroidal neovascularization (mCNV).
