Overall, our results of significant impairment of (AChE) in all patients with cancer are similar to the findings by Martínez, who analyzed the cholinergic components from stored fluids and tissues from 35 patients diagnosed with lung cancer and 37 non-cancerous individuals, showing that the measurements of (AChE) activity among cancer patients were significantly lower in cancerous samples than non-cancerous samples with mean and SD values [1.18 ± 0.18 and 1.34 ± 0.17], respectively33. The gene discussed is ACHE; the disease is lung carcinoma.
