In breast cancer, the overexpression of MTDH promotes cancer progression and is associated with an aggressive phenotype, short OS, and short distant metastasis-free survival.20,21 In addition, MTDH also plays a key role in the activation of multiple signaling pathways, including PI3K/Akt, NF-κB, and Wnt/β-catenin pathways.22–24 Although functional research on MTDH is relatively complete, its underlying mechanisms remain unclear. Here, MTDH is linked to breast carcinoma.
